Adding an Observer to a Training


  1. Login to CACWT https://cacwt.dss.ca.gov/

  2. If logged in through a Learner profile, click on Learner on the left panel and select Primary Support Admin from the drop down menu.

  3. Click on Learners on the left menu panel

  4. Search for your observer(s)

  5. Confirm under roles that they are an Observer. If not, add that role on. 

  6. Click on Sections on the left menu panel

  7. Locate the section of the training you would like to add the Observer to

  8. Click on the name of the class.

  9. Click on Edit on the left panel.

  10. Scroll down to find the Observer field.

  11. Enter the name into the Observer field to populate list, and select the name when it appears

    1. If the name does not appear, scroll up to the Affiliation section and add on the Affiliation that the observer is associated with

    2. Save the Section

    3. Try again with step 11

  12. Once their name is entered into the Observer field, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

  13. Repeat for every training that this person needs to be on. 

  14. Share with your new Observer resources!
