Academy Learner | SumTotal
Purpose: This article will guide learners through the steps of requesting an account (if needed), registering for an eLearning through the Academy LMS (SumTotal).
Confirm Access to a SumTotal Account
If you have access to your account skip to section Register for an eLearning
If unsure, click on the link below to access SumTotal
https://academy.sumtotal.host/
Select “Forgot your Password?”
Input your county work email address as your username
You will receive the following response:
“An email has been sent with the associated username on file. If you do not receive an email in a few minutes, check your junk folder and ensure you typed your username [work email] correctly.”
If you do NOT receive an email or do not have a SumTotal Account please review the guide to create a new account:
Log in to the Academy Learning Management System (LMS), SumTotal, by clicking here using your username and password. Be sure to turn off your pop-up blockers before you log in.
On your Learner Dashboard, click on the Course Catalog section to open the library.
Once at the Library, you will be able to view all available learning activities.
Once you have identified an activity you would like to register for, click on the Activity Title and to the right side of the activity and select Add to Cart.
A green banner will appear at the top of your screen saying “Success! Activity successfully added to shopping cart. To view the items in your cart, click here.”
Click on the “click here”.
Check the Activity in the Cart.
For the Check Out: Select Payment Method section, select the "Pre-Pay Learning Tokens" option. (The only option that will be available)
For Select an Account, select your corresponding Account.
Click the red Check Out button in the bottom right corner.
Click Continue.
Click Register.
The activity can now be started when ready.
