Getting Started with the Academy LMS



This guide will outline the steps needed for San Diego County Behavioral Health Services learners on how to create your Academy LMS account and self-register for a learning activity through the Academy LMS.

Logging In To Your Account


In order to access Academy trainings, you will need an Academy LMS account. If you already have an account, use your credentials to login to the Academy LMS via the link below:

  • If you are able to login, skip ahead to the “Self-Registration” section. If you have an account but forgot your password, use the “Forgot Password” option on the login screen


  • Don’t have an account yet? Use the Create Your Own Account option on the login screen, enter in the required information and you will be able to login with your email address.


If you have tried logging in and are having issues, please visit the Academy Help Center and submit a ticket.

Self-Registration

Once you are logged in, you can self-register for upcoming classes or eLearning that are available to you. To search, click on the Course Catalog option on your dashboard and use the filters on the side to find the activity you would like to register for.

Additionally, you can also search for the learning activity you are interested in by using the search bar in the top right corner.


Once you have found an activity you would like to register for, follow the steps below:


  1. Click the 3 dots to the right of the training name

  2. Select Register

    1. If this is an Instructor-Led class, you will see to select a class, choose Add then proceed to the next step.

  3. Click the Register button in the bottom right corner

  4. Once you have registered, you will be greeted by a registration confirmed screen and will receive a confirmation email to the email address for your account.

  5. If you have any issues enrolling into a class, please visit the Academy Help Center and submit a ticket.


Canceling Your Enrollment

If you would like to cancel your enrollment for any learning activity, follow the steps below

  1. From your dashboard, select Training Schedule

  2. Check the box to the left of the activity you would like to cancel

    1. If this is is an instructor-led training, select the ILT Course and the ILT Class

  3. Select Cancel Registration in the header


  1. Confirm your cancellation on the next screen

  2. You will receive an email with the cancellation details
