Getting Started with the Academy Learning Management System (LMS)
In order to access Academy courses, you will need an Academy LMS account. Based on your role/organization, you may see different courses within your library.
If you have previously logged in and taken courses with us, navigate to the Academy LMS and use your email/password to begin accessing our courses. If you are able to log in, skip ahead to the Self-Registration section.
If you have previously taken courses with us but forgot your password, use the Forgot Password option on the login screen. If you do not receive a password email within 15 minutes, do not create an additional account and please Submit a Ticket to our team with the following information: Full name, email address,
If you need to create an account, please follow the steps in our Account Request Guide. These requests are approved by members of the County of San Diego, Behavioral Health Services Workforce Team and can take a few days to approve however you can reach out at the email included in the guide if you have questions about approval for your account.

Once your account is approved and you are logged in, you can self-register for upcoming classes or eLearning that are available to you. To search, click on the Course Catalog option on your dashboard and use the filters on the side to find the activity you would like to register for.
Additionally, you can also search for the learning activity you are interested in by using the search bar in the top right corner. If you are using a course code to search, please double-check that it matches what is printed on the flyer. Copying and pasting directly from the flyer might alter it slightly (ex. dashes from the original code may be removed).
Once you have found an activity you would like to register for, follow the steps below:
Click the 3 dots to the right of the training name
Select Register
If this is an Instructor-Led class, you will see to select a class, choose Add then proceed to the next step.
Click the Register button in the bottom right corner
Once you have registered, you will be greeted by a registration confirmed screen and will receive a confirmation email to the email address for your account.
If you have any issues enrolling into a class, please visit the Academy Help Center and submit a ticket.
If you would like to cancel your enrollment for any learning activity, follow the steps below
From your dashboard, select Training Schedule
Check the box to the left of the activity you would like to cancel
If this is is an instructor-led training, select the ILT Course and the ILT Class
Select Cancel Registration in the header
Confirm your cancellation on the next screen
You will receive an email with the cancellation details
